Judy Deinema, OTR/L has practiced as an occupational therapist since 1996 after graduating from the occupational therapy program at Colorado State University. She spent the first 7 years of her career treating children and adults in a hippotherapy setting (treatment with the use of a horse). In 2001 she began her private practice in Albuquerque and over the years has completed extensive study with the Upledger Institute and Barral Institute and Optometric Extension Program Foundation. As a result of these studies she has developed specialized areas of treatment that allows her to get to the core of an issue rather than finding compensations for the symptoms. These areas of specialty include: sensory processing, craniosacral therapy, visceral and neural manipulation, and vision therapy.
Meet Romeo
Romeo, aka "Romi" is play partner and companion in training. While he is learning the ropes of being a therapy dog he is making periodic appearances at Silver Pines Therapy as he works to calm his puppy liveliness and learn to be of service to his many friends.
